* Special Notes: The tombstones of Andrew W. Dunham, Mary Ann McVoy Dunham, and their first born son, William H. Dunham, were behind a cotton field, about 5 feet into the woods, along the Bayou Macon River. This use to be the old Dunham homestead place and they were buried on their homestead. When the property was sold and the field was cleared and plowed up to plant cotton the tombstones were pushed up against a tree, in the woods.

The stones have since been removed to the home of another Dunham relative in Texas in order to preserve the stones since the graves are no longer there.

In the mid 1980's a Mr. Dallas Jones owned the property but today it is unknown who has the property.

** Special Notes: The last two children were said to have been black children. Their marriage records were found in the Franklin Parish, LA court house in the "Marriage records of Franklin Parish, LA for the Blacks". These are the two I wrote you about. On Marriage records it said that the parents of these two were Andrew W. Dunham and Mary Ann McVoy.
